Polls are Open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All eligible voters were automatically mailed an application

to receive a Mail-in (absentee) Ballot.

 

General Election Day

Tuesday, November 5, 2024 

Polls are Open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Voters may vote at the Early Voting Center during Early Voting days, at their Polling Place on Election Day (see listing at bottom below),  or deposit a Mail-in Ballot at either of the Mail-in Ballot Drop Off Box locations (see below) by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Notice to the Public

The Talbot County Board of Elections will be performing the following 2024 Primary Election Activities at 215 Bay Street, Suite 7 (rear entrance), Easton, MD 21601.  Open to the public.   Please provide notice to Tammy Stafford, Election Director, if you plan to attend any of these activities: 

Public Demonstration

Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Logic and Accuracy Testing documentation
available for public inspection.         

Canvassing 

Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Mail-in Ballot Canvass I
            Results will not be available until after 8:00 p.m. election night.

Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Mail-In Ballot Canvass I

Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. – Early Voting Results Canvass
Results will not be available until after 8:00 p.m.

     Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Mail In Ballot Canvass I

Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Provisional Ballot Canvass

Friday, May 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – Mail-In Ballot Canvass II

      Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.- Post Certification Canvass This meeting will be held at 215 Bay St., Easton, Maryland, 21601 in Conference Room 1
