Board of Appeals

Purpose: To hear and decide matters including, but not limited to, zoning matters, exclusive of rezoning, appeals from orders relating to licensing and permits, appeals from orders relating to building, subdivision, plumbing and electrical statutes or codes and appeals from executive, administrative or adjudicatory orders.

Meetings for the Board will be held in the Bradley Meeting Room, Courthouse, South Wing, Easton, Maryland unless stated otherwise on the Agenda.  Meetings are open to the Public.

New Hours for the Board meetings will be 6:30 p.m., effective 10/31/17.

The Board of Appeals has suspended all meetings. No new appeals will be accepted and all hearings in April are hereby suspended until further notice. When operations resume, new appeals and rescheduled hearings will be scheduled and heard on an expedited basis, while still keeping with necessary public notification  requirements.

Talbot County Government has been reduced to minimal staffing at this time.

Please note: Although closed to the public, the office will remain accessible from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays). We will monitor email and phone messages—responding as soon as possible during normal operating hours.
