Airport - Welcome
Welcome to Easton Airport, the Aviation Gateway to Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Easton Airport (ESN) is a general aviation airport located just two (2) miles north of the town of Easton Maryland in Talbot County. The Airport is owned and operated by Talbot County and provides essential access for corporate pilots, businesses and aviation enthusiasts.
Originally constructed for use by the military during World War II, today Easton Airport is one of the busiest general aviation facilities in the state linking Talbot County to the entire country and to the world. Named FAA Eastern Region General Aviation Airport of the year in March 2008, ESN is one of the few general aviation airports in the country with an ILS (Instrument Landing System) facility.
ESN has two runways, a 5,500-foot primary runway (4-22), and a crosswind runway (15-33) that is 4,003 feet long.
Currently, there are several studies underway at Easton Airport, including one that will bring the airport into compliance with current Federal Aviation Safety Standards. Visit the study web pages to learn more and to find out how you can participate.
