This program is sponsored by a grant through the Jamie Webb Youth Ice Hockey Foundation. Initial lessons focus on basic skating and balance. Later lessons involve use of a hockey puck with a focus on edge control, starting, stopping, turning, etc. All of the equipment is provided. Please arrange for an equipment fitting one week prior to the start of a session. Those who participate in all three sessions may keep the jersey.
When: Session I: Saturdays: Oct 10, 17, 24, 31 and Nov 7, 14, 2009
Session II: Saturdays: Dec 5, 12, 19, 2009 and Jan 2, 9, 16, 2010
Session III: Saturdays: Jan 23, 30 and Feb 6, 13, 20, 27, 2010
Where: Talbot Community Center
Fee: $65 per 6 week session ($50 additional family member)
Z League
This league is for those who are returning to and/or are a beginner hockey player.
Who: Adults 18 years or older
When: Fridays 9:30-10:30 pm
Where: Talbot Community Center
Drop in Fee: $15
Pick-Up Ice Hockey
Pick-up hockey is for anyone interested in playing ice hockey early in the morning. A minimum of 10 participants is required to play.
Who: Adults 18 years or older
When: Fridays 7:30-9:30 am beginning October 2, 2009
Where: Talbot Community Center
Drop in Fee: $10
Adult Hockey League
This popular recreational league runs from October 11, 2009 until March 14, 2010 Game are played on Sunday evenings with a tournament at the end of the season. Open to men and women ages 18 and older. Spectators are welcome in our viewing area!!
