Public Participation

Public involvement and input is an important component of this EA.  Three informal public workshops will be held at key milestones in the process to distribute information and receive comments.  These workshops will provide information and solicit public input on the proposed scope of services for conducting an EA to assist the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in evaluating the potential environmental impacts resulting from the proposed projects listed in Easton Airport’s (ESN) Five-Year CIP.

All comments received will be reviewed by the EA Study Team, responded to and incorporated into the final EA which will also be made available for public review.

Current Meetings

Public Information Session #2:

Join us to review and comment on proposed runway extension alternatives for Easton Airport. These options are being considered to ensure the airport meets new Federal Aviation Administation guidelines while continuing to meet the community's needs. Each of the options will enhance the airport''s safety and viability to Talbot County by improving the Airport's ability to service Easton-based and transient aircraft. The open house meeting will provide detailed information on the options and an opportunity to talk with the study team. Your valuable input is essential to this study.
