Chapter 190 of the Talbot County Code stipulates regulations for the use of a primary dwelling unit, not guesthouses, tenant houses or other dwelling units as an accessory use subject to registration, licensing and other requirements. Short Term Rentals are permitted in all zoning districts except Limited Industrial, Limited Commercial, and General Commercial.
All owners of property proposed for use as a short term rental shall apply for a short term rental license with the Office of Planning and Zoning.
