Administrative Services

 

Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, the department coordinates and is responsible for the daily administrative affairs of the County Government operation.

Specifically, the Administrative Services Department:

  • Administers all Human Resources functions, including but not limited to: policies and procedures, wage and salary assessment, benefits and insurance administration, recruitment, indoctrination, placement, promotions, training and development, discipline and discharge, performance evaluations, substance abuse testing and wellness programs.
  • Administers County-wide insurance programs including: General Liability, Property, Equipment, Environmental, Public Officials Liability, Employee Fidelity and Crime and Workers Compensation.
  • Enforces County policies and procedures and applicable federal and state laws.
