Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, the department coordinates and is responsible for the daily administrative affairs of the County Government operation.
Specifically, the Administrative Services Department:
- Administers all Human Resources functions, including but not limited to: policies and procedures, wage and salary assessment, benefits and insurance administration, recruitment, indoctrination, placement, promotions, training and development, discipline and discharge, performance evaluations, substance abuse testing and wellness programs.
- Administers County-wide insurance programs including: General Liability, Property, Equipment, Environmental, Public Officials Liability, Employee Fidelity and Crime and Workers Compensation.
- Enforces County policies and procedures and applicable federal and state laws.
