Liquor Board
Anyone seeking to sell alcohol in a business or organization in Talbot County should be aware of the County's regulations for Alcohol licenses and sales. General information on Liquor in Talbot County can be found here.
The Talbot County Liquor Board reviews all applications, violations, and rules and regulations related to the sale of Liquor.
PUBLIC NOTICE
If any member of the public would like to protest a business alcohol license renewal, they will need to do the following:
- Submit a protest signed by not less than ten (10) residents or property owners in the voting district in which the place of business is located
- Submit the protest with signature and printed names by March 30, 2026
- Protest can be submitted to the Liquor Board by mail, in person or email. 11 N. Washington Street, Easton, Maryland 21601, VBradley@talbotcountymd.gov

2026 PUBLIC NOTICE - YEARLY NOTICE RENEWALSLiquor License Renewal
All alcoholic beverages license renewal applications must be filed annually.
The 2026-2027 application is now availiable. All alcoholic beverage licenses expire on April 30, 2025. All alcoholic beverages license renewal applications must be filed to the board on or before March 31, 2025.

Alcohol Awareness Training
All employees involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages shall successfully complete training in an Alcohol Awareness Program within 180days of the date of hire.
Classes are $35 and the fee must be paid first at the Talbot County Finance office. Your receipt of payment will be your ticket into the class; you will not be able to attend the class without your receipt.
The Finance Office can accept cash or checks made payable to 'Talbot County, MD'

The Liquor Board meetings 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month beginning at 10:00 a.m. pending an agenda. Meetings are open to the public and usually held in the Bradley Meeting Room, Talbot County Circuit Courthouse, South Wing, 11 N. Washington Street, Easton, Maryland 21601 unless otherwise stated.
