Talbot Day
On April 19, 1983, the Talbot County Council unanimously proclaimed April 25 as the official birthday of Talbot County. Forty years later, in 2023, the Council reaffirmed that tradition by declaring April 25 as “Talbot Day”—a celebration of the county’s founding and a renewed commitment to honoring its legacy.
2026 Celebration
In 2026, Talbot County proudly celebrates its 365th anniversary alongside the nation’s 250th anniversary. This year’s Talbot Day celebration will highlight both historic milestones.
