Agricultural Land Preservation

Farmland preservation refers to the proactive effort to protect agricultural land from being converted to non-agricultural uses. The goal of farmland preservation is to safeguard agricultural resources, promote sustainable food production, preserve rural landscapes, and support farming communities.

Agricultural Preservation Easement Program - Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation

If you are the owner of eligible farmland and/or woodland, the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation can help you by purchasing an agricultural preservation easement on your property.
