The Commission on Aging meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 AM.  Meetings are open to the public and usually held at Brookletts Place, Talbot County Senior Center at 400 Brookletts Ave, Easton, MD.

In this new world of social media, the adage in advertising that it takes seven impressions (ads, TV, radio) for your product or organization to stick with the general public has changed. In this short-attention-span world, the number is closer to 60 points of contact before important work starts to be acknowledged by the general public these days. 'Only going to get worse': Talbot officials discuss rise in senior homelessness

Talbot County officials and senior care leaders met Tuesday to discuss creating a task force to address senior homelessness, a rapidly accelerating problem, experts say. The request for the task force comes from Talbot County Council member Lynn Mielke. Based on council feedback, a resolution to create the task force seems poised for approval at the council’s Aug. 12 meeting.
