  • Delmarva Community Transit Need a ride? - Whether you do not own a car, cannot drive, or just need a ride, we can help. Delmarva Community Transit (DCT) provides transportation throughout the Mid-Shore area at very affordable rates.
  • MD211 211 informs, connects and advocates for individuals through partnerships with state and local agencies.
  • Brookletts Place-Talbot County Senior Center Senior Center serving the Easton area.
  • Bay Hundred Senior Center Senior Center serving the St. Michaels and Bay Hundred area. 
  • Upper Shore Aging Our Area Agency on Aging that develops and administers programs and services for our area.
  • Senior Call Check  FREE, automated daily telephone service to check in on Maryland's residents age 65 and older.
  • Maryland DME Reuse Program FREE durable medical equipment to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost.

  • Transportation

    Bus System

    Delmarva Community Transit (DCT) provides transportation throughout the Mid-Shore area at very affordable rates. Connections are available from Queen Anne's County to the Lower Shore. They offer regularly scheduled route service Monday through Friday, plus limited Saturday Service.     Mobility on Demand

    Talbot County has partnered with Delmarva Community Services to provide Mobility on Demand (MOD) for citizens in the Easton area that are unable to ride fixed or deviated routes. See more here.

  • Veteran's Affairs

    Maryland's Commitment to Veterans

    Maryland's Commitment to Veterans (MCV) assists Veterans and their families with coordinating behavioral health services, including mental health and substance abuse, with either the VA or Maryland's public health system. MCV facilitates and covers the transportation costs to behavioral health appointments for veterans. Call 1-877-770-4801, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Veteran Disability and Navigating the Healthcare System

    Veterans of the United States (U.S.) Armed Forces may be eligible for a broad range of benefits and services provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

    Mental Health

    Get started on how to access VA mental health services for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST), depression, grief, anxiety, and other needs at www.va.gov/health-care/health-needs-conditions/mental-health/. You can use some services even if you’re not enrolled in VA health care.

    VA Burials & Memorials

    Burial benefits available include a gravesite in any of the VA national cemeteries with available space, opening and closing of the grave, perpetual care, a government headstone, marker, or medallion, a burial flag, and a Presidential Memorial Certificate, at no cost to the family. Some Veterans may also be eligible for burial allowances. Cremated remains are buried or inurned in national cemeteries in the same manner and with the same honors as casketed remains.

    Burial benefits available for spouses and dependents buried in a national cemetery include burial with the Veteran, perpetual care, and the spouse or dependents name and date of birth and death will be inscribed on the Veteran's headstone, at no cost to the family. Eligible spouses and dependents may be buried, even if they predecease the Veteran.
