Customer Service Desk Attendant

Summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support to assigned department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee participant and guest access to the facility, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
Answer incoming calls using proper phone etiquette, direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of our facility, policies, procedures, and program offerings to provide accurate information to participants and guests.
Assist in communicating program details and room rental procedures to staff and the public as needed.
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task during high traffic operating hours.
Perform a variety of tasks including patron registration, facility registration, copying, creating forms and cash handling.
Design and edit marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social media graphics, presentations) using Canva.
Assist with the development and distribution of social media content across platforms including email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and digital communications.
Other related duties as assigned per departmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills are a must.
- Basic computer skills and professional phone etiquette are required.
- Administrative support experience (one year preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
- Capability of handling money correctly and accurately by providing change, accepting payments in forms of cash, checks and credit cards.
