Talbot Family Network is pleased to announce the latest volume of its Healthy Talbot Family Resource Guide.
The guide is a compilation of local resources for children, youth and families. Available in English & Spanish, it includes listings for educational, developmental, parenting, wellness, and community services in Talbot County. In addition to the printed versions, which can be found around the County at the Talbot County Free Library branches, in government agency offices, and with local nonprofits, community members can download the guide and access a searchable version of the database at healthytalbot.org under Resources.
“The guide covers a multitude of local agencies and professionals who offer important health and family related services,” says Rachel Stoyanov, Healthy Talbot Coordinator. “I deliver the guides around the County. Community members and professionals continue to provide positive feedback, that it’s useful for families and also the professionals working to support them.”
Certified by the National Federation of Families, Rachel uses her experience in family support and systems navigation, and as a wife and mom to three children, to assist local families in working toward increased access to supports and resources. She took on the Healthy Talbot project in 2022. “Everyone needs help in their life at one point or another and it can be hard to ask for help. Hopefully the guide is a first step whether you’re an expecting mom or supporting an aging parent,” Stoyanov notes.
Healthy Talbot is a project of Talbot Family Network, the Local Management Board for Talbot County.
