Talbot County Department of Social Services recently held an in-person training for resource parents on car seat safety and infant massage. The training was provided by Rachael Crawford, RN, Maternal Child Health at the Talbot County Health Department, and Stephanie Blades, RN, Clinical Educator in Women and Children’s Health at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health. Sewage Discharge at Royal Oak Pump Station - Intersection of St. Michaels Road (MD 33) and Royal Oak Road (MD 329)

On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Talbot County Sanitary District (Sanitary District) was alerted to high wastewater levels at the Royal Oak Pump Station. When staff responded, they determined the pump had failed and attempted to restart the pump. Read more
