Talbot County, the Housing Commission of Talbot (HCT), Easton, and Pennrose celebrated the groundbreaking of the Doverbrook Apartments redevelopment, which will replace the outdated 50-unit public housing community with 64 brand-new, energy-efficient mixed-income homes and on-site community amenities. On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Talbot County Sanitary District (Sanitary District) was alerted to high wastewater levels at the Royal Oak Pump Station. When staff responded, they determined the pump had failed and attempted to restart the pump. Read more
